Perhaps the King would have another global effect - all subs move 25%, 33% or 50% slower.

That way, stacking them really causes issues, though would just encourage more turtling.

I don't thinks there's a problem with the King. I think that there's a problem with specialist stacking in general.

i am agree, 2 or more engineer is hard to counter too

I'm one of the people who thinks the king really needs a nerf. I think it should be trailed at 1 kill for every 4' drillers and perhaps a reduction in the shield bonus.

It's not only the king stacking with itself...it's how powerful it is with other specialists like: tycoon, tinkerer, thief, engi etc

One of the only really good counters to king is to have a lot of shields...like double security chief...then it just slows them down.

The problem with the current paradigm is that as stash said, having early king is a huge advantage. It's taking the fun out of the game. Why pull off a cool specialist combo when you can just use brute force? I think I am pretty good with specialists, but if I have no king and the other player has multi king there is nothing anyone can do unless they walk into a double agent. I'd prefer a scenario where the king was not so OP that I felt like I HAVE to take hypno when it comes up. Please change this a bit!

There are many ways to counter against multiple kings. If you havethe same number of generals as your opponent has kings + a diplomat, I don't see any reason why the person with kings would be winning, especially when you don't need any drillers to kill some of his drillers.

Ron probably already has this planned out already, but! I think it would be cool if everyone who competed in this tournament was given a medal. Say if:

-Everyone who made it to the final round got a medal representing their final ranking.
-Everyone else gets a consolation medal with a trophy with a picture of poop on to commended their participation. And to remind them that everyone is a winner, but some people are just winners than others.

I think king stacking is a fairly obvious strategy, though. If I hadn't done it in the broadcast game, maybe the strategy wouldn't have caught on as quickly, but, as TheStash mentioned, there were other factors involved.

How do you know? Would the Devs really go that far? (No offence what I'm trying to say is that they'll probably be working on other things that are high up on their list, and you shouldn't be distracting them for some medal design and more coding)
