Negative Medals are the worst idea ever. Please reconsider.

Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • Giving a negative medal someone doesn't deserve is a really childish thing to do. I do wish the negative medals cost more so that childishness could better support the devs.

  • Honestly, there is one player who I would love to give a toxic medal to.

He spent the whole game childishly taunting and name calling all of the other players along with accusing anyone who got ahead of cheating and abusing exploits. Really made the entire game miserable for everybody. I'd love to give him a toxic medal as a warning to other players that this is someone who will guarantee you won't have fun playing. Unfortunately, I imagine that he would respond to anyone who gives him a toxic medal by giving them one back.

So, I'll just be content with my player notes that say "never, ever, join a game with this $@%#* again"

  • I don't mind the turd metal, as it can really mean anything, though I don't like the back stabber metal. That one I could see really hurting peoples future games as it is pretty much mandatory that you ally with people, and there's really no way to determine if you actually deserved the metal or if someone just decided to give it to you because they didn't like you. The turd I would were with pride though.

  • In case anyone was wondering whether the toxic medal actually matters: multiple people have nervously asked me at the opening of two games I am starting, how I got that medal.

And I have to keep giving the exact same story about how some jerk in the forums who doesn't like what I had to say in the forums (who I never even played a single game with) gave it to me out of spite.

I'm starting 2 games and I've already had to give that explanation 3 times. I guess we will see whether or not they believe my (truthful) story... Thanks again topkilla...

Can you even do that? Gift a medal to a player you've never run into before?

  • Yes

You just need to find that player in a game waiting to start and open up their profile

  • Wait what? You've given him a toxic medal because you didn't like what he said on the forum?

Never. That would be childish. - I gave him a Toxic medal because:

    • I’m a terrible person who takes pleasure in annoying people over things that don’t matter.
    • I wanted to prove a point that the medals mean nothing.
    • I think the pay-for-medals are silly and I wasn’t planning on buying any. So in giving the medal, I was able to support the game a little bit more.
