Yeah. I started playing less around Christmas. My games all lost variety with the metagame and that's roughly the time period I started to feel strongly about how unbalanced the specialists are. Throw in the financial status of the game, and I feel that Subterfuge has a limited time spawn.

Also, to be competitive you really need to be as present as possible. Which makes Subterfuge a great alarm clock, but I don't have any desire waking up at 5:45 every morning to check the game. I've just now started to begin sleeping in again. And I fucking love it. - Not to mention, my schedule has also changed from me being mostly available 24/7 to pretty busy 3-5 days a week.


But yeah. There's no one reason. It's a mix of 3-5 moderate reasons. But I love Subterfuge. It's a great game. And it's a kind of game I've always wanted to play. A realtime, week long, "Game of Risk". But unfortunately, it's something I no longer care to do. (Note: I'm talking pretty much about video games in general. Not strictly Subterfuge)
