What the heck is wrong with domination? I actually don't like normal anymore, I try to only play domination

    After a LONG vacation.

So the 40d to Najia were not part of a smuggler/assassin plot on purple/me. Guess I was paranoid. :P And instead of a rage quit let's call it an "apathetic quit"?

Right on all counts, haha. I'm not a particularly rage-y person, so I don't like the term "rage quit." It's more that I know when I'm beaten.

Ehhh, for me, I think the pacing is off. Mines create the tempo of subterfuge, and removing them creates a stale environment, I think.

I hate the end-game mining rush. More fun to fight to the death.

On a separate note, I just realized that Stefan was the host. Just in case you wondered

  • In regards to not being able to watch my recap yet, my internet connection is laughably terrible. The 6 minute video is taking about 2 hours to upload. It should be watchable within an hour, tomorrow at the latest.

And if we do this again I would much rather mine than dominate.

EDIT- YouTube hates me. The video uploaded but it somehow removed the voiceover that I recorded in game from the video. It left the audio from the game other than that though. The file on my computer still has the voice over, and I'm not sure how or why YouTube would remove my voice. I'm going to have to fiddle with somethings next time I'm free. If you want to just stare at the map for several minutes though, head on over and check it out! :(

Alright, there's my part. Sorry it's bad, first time doing it

Olive and pink asking you to come to one of their outposts and feed them specialists is just wrong, did you consider it even for a moment? In a mining game they could help you build up drillers on a factory and still be a force, but in a domination game there's just no use in turtling if you have to pay rent to your agressors, instead of working against them.

    Red was indeed very social!

Cool to hear Roadkiehl's side of events as well. I was glad red and you didn't join against me obviously, I assumed you'd jump in when I was weaker, and at that point I preferred to fight pink.

I was out of almost all the diplomacy by the way, which made it a fairly light game for me.

Great video! It was a good idea to stick to the diplomacy, since everyone else gave the facts already.
I find it interesting that you feel I'm aloof and noncommittal, because I honestly had the same impression about you from the chats. And because of that, I didn't give you as much information for mostly the same reasons you didn't give me any. So I guess it's become a vicious cycle of us not trusting each other?

Funny! Sounds like some kind of real-life lesson imbedded in there.

Yeah, there could be. But the Subterfuge lesson matters more, let's be honest.
