Hey, I'm not complaining. If the entire forum wants to give him -1 I wouldn't care.

I know this avoids the necessity for medals, but, could this also be one reason for the dev's loss of income, and so, loss of interest?

The problem has been there for a long time, even before the medals. In fact, the medals were a last-ditch effort to make the game profitable, and they were ineffective even before this thread became a thing.
