Haha the whale reminds me exactly of my 2nd game. I was allied with him, and he appeared to be nice to everyone, but he was non stop growing. He had one mine, but it produced more than my 2. Before we realized it, he had 36 outposts. Then he backstabbed me and took 2 of my mines. He ended up winning gaining 160 neptunium per day, and he could see then entire map, except 5 or 6 outposts. Maybe someone couldve stopped him, but it was only my second game and i was spending it fighting a guy in a useless infinite battle. This whale description surely made me smile :)

Like ask questions, then at the end, it classifies them as one of these types

I'll get on that! Great idea!

Edit: Here's the link to the short quiz, if anyone's interested. Feedback would be great!

Boom, great work! It gave me octopus, I'd say that's pretty accurate. The only feedback I have is there should be a question that gives you the sea cucumber.

And the there's the king:
Pretends to help war effort by gifting 'ally' drillers. Gets everyone into war with each other and just sits there waiting to get to 200 Np.

I am going to start posting new Player Types here as well as updating the original post, so that anyone who is interested can see the latest updates without having to check the first post.

14. The Pilot Fish
Like real pilot fish, the subterfuge pilot fish forms a symbiotic relationship with the game's shark. These players can often be found hiding behind the shark, sending them small gifts or specialists to help in war efforts in exchange for peace and a few easy outposts in the shark's wake.
How to Spot: The player who is being funded by the shark and has unswerving devotion to the shark.
Favorite Specialist: Whichever specialist the shark needs
Mining Tendency: Quiet but heavy. Normally drills 3 mines.
Diplomatic Style: Very friendly at first, until he finds a shark to help. Then quiet to all but his closest allies.
Friend: The Shark
Foe: The Octopus

road i think this can be classify to be early, mid, and late game ? cause i can see the early octopus can be upgrade to the kraken in late game. early piranha can be upgrade to orca (killer whale) in late game. and early crab can be uprgade to ultimate turtle in late game. if his early strategy game work.

this strategy is ruin when the pilot fish abandon the shark. when at mid game he decide stop gifting and supply the shark. and when late game come he will near eliminate. but if the strategy is well execute medal is easy to get.

15. sea leech
Like a leech but living in the darkest bottom of the ocean, the subterfuge sea leech forms a symbiotic relationship with the game's shark too but has 100% chance of back stab the shark if he find the chance. These players can often be found hiding behind the shark, join attack in early game like piranha did in war. do effort for peace and a few easy outposts in the shark's wake. in late game he back stab every one to gain medal.
How to Spot: he do back stab when he was funded and he has chance to do it.
Favorite Specialist: thief, speed specialist and smuggler to deliver her back stab more higger chance to succes
Mining Tendency: Quiet. usually mining after the shark and pilot fish. for sure funded
Diplomatic Style: Very friendly at first, until he finds a chance to backstab. Then quiet to all but his funder.
Friend: anyone support him in early game specially funder
Foe: not looking for one. except the one he back stab.
