Outpost Idea: Fortress

I was thinking a bit about outposts. I had the idea of the fortress. When you start your game instead of your queen starting on a reactor she can instead start in the fortress. It has an additional 20 to its maximum shield charge. It is he only fortress you get for the entire game. Your queen would start there. It does not produce drillers, power or neptunium.

What do you think? It could make the game interesting to push on to your opponents queen.. She gives it more shield charge on top of the amount it already has. It would make for some interesting scenarios of hundreds of troops marching to take the queens fortress and the defender is mustering his drillers for battle. Any thoughts?

She already does this. She adds 20 shields to any outpost she is stationed at. seems like it would be too much work on the devs for a feature that they already have.

I don't think you understand. The fortress has it higher shield even if the queen is not there. If she is there the effects stack.

It's already fairly difficult to kill a queen.... not sure if 50 starting shields is a great idea. Imagine someone with a security chief or a king there.... It would be hell trying to take that outpost. And I find it frustrating when someone who has clearly lost holes up with 150 drillers in their last outpost and hires a sentry to be a pain. This would make that problem exponentially worse.
