  • I know I'm late here!, but was meant to say this a while back, so how about a Remembrance Day ceasefire for next year? Possibly also for the Paris attacks? We love virtual war, but real life wars and attack are not cool. What do you think peeps?

  • And of course anyone breaking the ceasefire would be hunted down and destroyed as soon as the ceasefire ends by all other players before normal play resumes :)

  • That's a noble idea, and I like it a lot.

Did you know that in the middle ages, it was against chivalry to attack on holy days? That meant Sundays and any day honoring a Catholic Saint. In all, that left about 82 days in a year where knights could actually wage war.

    Random factoid, sorry :P

  • As a general comment, I support everyone remembering their lost loved ones / ancestors in fights in their region.

However, all countries have different days to remember their fallen heroes. France might want July 14th, Germany the Sunday nearest 16 November, Italy November 4th, Netherlands May 4th, Denmark September 5th, and so on. It would be difficult to cater to everyone.

  • Anyone could post there request for respect in the pre game chat, up to people if they honour it..... Could make an interesting play, don't honour it and risk a total assault! Just an idea :) and of course on a serious note of course different nations honour different days and respect to those that have died fighting for what they believe, glad I can get my war buzz from a virtual world, hope to god I never have to play for real!
