Ants army nerf?

Hello,

So I am in this situation.

My opponent found a way to counter my Sentry by sending his subs 1 by 1 at the same time, with the big subs at the end...maybe a too easy way? Do you think this technique should be nerfed (for instance by giving splash damage to the sentry), or you think it's legit?
In my opinion it's definitely a clever move, but in the end people will just start sending subs like this without thinking much, whenever there is a Sentry, as it has no real drawback

There are counters to this, if you have a General he will lose 10 drillers on every sub. If you have an inspector he will lose 30 drillers on every sub. Also the sentry always attacks the sub with the most drillers on it. Assuming the 33 drillers sub is the one with the most the sentry will always attack this.

And I'm not completely shure about the recharging of the shields, but a 30 shield should recharge 1 point every 1.25 hours. This attack should go longer than 3 hours which means, if the shields recharge 1.25 hours after the first attack, he will lose some extra drillers. Not much though, but still some.

Wow, I never encountered something like that!

I don't know what to say about this, actually. From the look of it, only L2 players can do this kind of thing. So yeah, L2 will gain an advantage. But, seeing what the next update will contain, I think many players can use the ad feature to their advantage to make their own ant army.

Why? Only L2 players can schedule this, but any other player can still send subs every 10 minutes. It's harder for L1 players, but not impossible.

Yeah, I agree with you. That's possible, but not unlikely.

Did anyone mention that you should promote to a war hero? I think this situation is exactly why the war hero exists.

If they're 1 drillers subs why not send a son of 10 in each direction? Also, your sentry should sill fire at the sub with the most drillers in its range so this isn't technically abusing or exploiting it as the sentry will still fire on the sub that will do the most damage.

The sentry is programmed to inflict maximal losses, so i don't think the final result is impacted anyway
But maybe i'm wrong, i never encounter this kind of situation :|

Promote your sentry to a war hero just before they arrive... Easy win.
