  • Ok before I get into the actual topic, the questions thread is for like. Rule clarification and such correct? General opinion questions should go in this thread, right?

Anyway, what is your favourite size of game to play? I'm on my third game and I have to say I found it to be most enjoyable with 8 people. 10 just seems to be to much for me, and 6 is a little squishy. Thoughts?

    1. Yes.
    2. I agree. I think the devs nailed the default game size. 10 players can be fun, but only once in a blue moon. Any odd player numbered game always generates an odd map, and with six or less players, there aren't enough allies to go around.

  • I prefer 5 players.

It seems more open ended and dynamic.

  • It feels too soon for me to have a preference. I've been in eight person games and those felt like a nice balance.. Just finished a game of six where one player auto-resigned, it was a mess for a couple of reasons and I'll agree that it felt less than optimal. My next game will likely be a ten person affair, I like the idea of us starting at a high number and working our way down. Also, eliminations seem more inevitable and what is there to not like about that?
