The first major Subterfuge is out! Can't wait to try that Domination Mode!

Okay, I'll go first..
This year I'm thankful for the Subterfuge update dropping before we start our Turkey Day game.

Anybody know how the new features work?
Star indicates a rated game?
Heart indicates a friend in the game?

I know that fifty outposts is going to feel closer to a hundred when the subs start flying.. Fingers crossed for a possible slider in the future?

Wasn't it 40?
I feel like, even when I'm playing an aggressive game, I never get above 25 outposts. Even if it is only 40, that's going to be quite the game.

The number of outposts required for dominion mode is based on the number of players. I believe 8 players is 40, 9 is 45, 10 is 50. I *think* it is equal to half the map? But I'm not too sure on that one. I am wonder though, is there a way to add friends by username? And how do you see your friend list? Can you see opponent's friend lists?

Thanks for clearing that up.
In the lobby before a game starts when we "invite players" there's now a heart icon that shows recent players. From there you can highlight a heart next to a given player's name to move them to the top of the list where they will lord over the unknowns as a "friend."
For a game with this particular title that is a fair amount of clicky hearts. I'm not certain how much love is represented in game yet, hopefully someone will swing through and enlighten us further.

This is true for game of 4 or more players. 2 players is first to 15, and 3 players is first to 18 outposts.

One thing I do think that needs addressing is that there is no way to tell if a certain map is balanced, generator or factory heavy until after you have joined.
