Question: How to Evade a martyr, pirate, and navigator?

Hey, just started the game and I'm in a precarious situation. Not sure how to escape, but curious how the game works.

Right now, I've got a sub with the aforementioned 3 specialists heading towards my queen. I've got a couple of questions of how the game works:

1. Can an admiral switch courses multiple times between two outposts?
2. Is it possible to intercept a sub's course from an outpost that is not one of the 2 outposts the sub is directly moving between (for example, can I launch a sub from a 3rd outpost to somehow hit the martyr mid flight?)

A navigator can reroute outside of an outpost, but an admiral cannot. If you have or can get a sub to your queen's outpost in time to intercept the enemy sub. The enemy sub needs to be hit 5 hours before arriving at your base (anyone correct me if I am wrong).

You cannot intercept the enemy sub from any other outpost besides the one it is destined for, with your own pirate, or if you capture the enemy's outpost from which they launch and can outpace the enemy sub (in your case a smuggler).

Worst case scenario: move your queen. Let the enemy martyr destroy the outpost and three enemy specialist hires.

You're going to need a pirate to target that death sub, or your going to need some form of speed 2x or more speed to run away faster than it could target you.

Flee into the fog of war. Pirate+Nav cannot target a sub if it can't see it.

That sub is deadly but you have some options.

One option that you DON'T have is interception (without a pirate). A navigator can easily juke any intercepting sub by changing course and then changing course again. Once they have done this then the death sub is no longer coming from an outpost and you will not be able to plot any course that will allow your sub to intercept it.

You CAN intercept it with a pirate. Your pirate will die but so will theirs, plus navigator and martyr. Net win for you. (sort of, you're down a specialist compared to other players)

You can flee IF you have 2x speed boost. If a pirate latches onto you then it travels at 2x speed so you'll need 2x speed to escape it.

All these doesn't work in this scenario because of the navigator.

As far as I know you can't intercept a navigator without a pirate even if he doesn't reroute. A navigator travelling from one outpost straight to another isn't really considered travelling between these two outposts.

Moving the queen alone won't help because the navigator can just reroute the pirate to the fleeing queen as long as the queen doesn't enter the enemy's fog of war. That's the only way to rescue the queen that I know if you don't have pirate.

The original title was martyr, pirate, and admiral. Hence the response. I agree; the navigator makes it a whole different beast.

Assuming that you mean navigator and not admiral:

1. Flee into the fog. This can be effective. But be absolutely sure not to let them take an outpost that would let them see your queen again.
2. Use a pirate.

These are really your only two options.

Did someone already suggest a Reverend Elder?

Martyr is the one thing that still acts before the Elder. Revered elder is a counter to the Assassin variation of this death-sub, but can't do anything (other than die) against the Martyr.
