Is three Enginners a Thing?

Has anyone seen this or had the potential to do this? I don't know if there is a limit on how many foremen you can initially hire.
150% recover rate on a local level and 75% global.
Or 125% with two engineers and another specialist like a thief or helmsman or whatever.
OR 100% with one engineer and two other specialists- this makes it worth it maybe?
Can you gain men from defending or attacking a location? Even if they where to retreat to reduce the men lost ( and therefore recovered)

More or less interested in the gaining men via fighting mechanic rather than the practicality of it.

the "deck" of specialists each player gets contains 3 of everything. So its possible to hire all three, but everytime you hire one, you are removing it from the deck so the next will be a little bit rarer, so it might take a while. Also six hires is a lot to spend on this setup and will probably mean you have some pretty vulnerable to other specialists. But if you can steal or trade with other players to get 3 engineers it might be a lot easier.

As for what happens when you get 3 engineers on the same sub/outpost, i have no idea, and have been wondering myself. But at that point each engineer regenerates 100% on their own, i would take advantage of that. A engineer/thief/thief/ or an engineer/thief/helmsman would be devastating attack forces if you had two other engineers defending.

Yeah yeah, Just found out the whole deck mechanic whole browsing on the Wiki (place is looking a little bare, might go ham on the specialist area)

I know it seems unpractical and is probably only achievable in unique circumstances or in an incredibly long game, Still sounds pretty fun to do so! A foreman is essentially a portable factory, so its not too bad of a buy. :D

Still curious on that Massive Regen!

Well in a ten person game you can possibly obtain 30 engineers if everyone gets engineers then gifts them all to you which is highly unlikely but it's nice to have a hypnotist a to make somethin like 4 generals or 6 kings a possibility. (What's up janitorial :D )

According to the wiki, having 3 engineers caps local repair at 100%, but global is at 75%.
Having 4 engineers (via gifting), both local and global repair rate are at 100%.
Having any more does not do anything.

However, there is a cool trick involving thief and 2 engineers - as long as you have a bit over 70% of their size, you are guaranteed to gain 15% of their drillers every time, unless specialists interfere (allowing you to snowball in size).

Does that mean in effect, you gain drillers after every combat? If so, I've got to try that out now!

Gonna try this out with my ally, We both have two engineers! will get back to confirm or mythbust this theory!

Something isn't right here then. By definition you can't repair a driller you never had...
