Dear All,
First of all I want to say I love this game!
And would like to spread it even more - I can see this game has the potential to grow into worldwide e-sports.
The thing is that I would like to spread the word among the general public and I am looking for an effective way to do so.
Do you have a brief video, review, text that I could share and help Subterfuge community to grow?
Looking forward to your answers,
Igor

There was an ad that the devs made a while back. It's still on their website, I think. Very well done.
There were also two sets of gameplay videos done on the devlog that you can check out. The first had a bunch of beta players and the second a bunch of new players.
I will say, though, that this is a surprisingly niche game. While I'm on board about promoting Subterfuge, don't be surprised if it gets small results.

Apart from the trailer, the cool ghosts video series or the initial exhibition game seem like the best way to show what the game is actually like.

Which, I wish everyone that resigns would watch that replay from Ron. I get if you're level 1 you want to get into a game you can win, but it's a lot of fun to condense into one spot and go on the warpath. Since you're not a threat to win anymore, you'll find a lot of people willing to help you out in your revenge.

Yeah in one of my early games I got ganged up on and ended up collapsing down to a small core of bases. My forces became concentrated and I had my specialists, and suddenly it was really unappealing to attack me. I was able to stay in the game, exercise some diplomacy, and make some things happen, mainly harass the person who betrayed me. I ended up juuust shy of a medal but it was still fun.

One of my most favourite games was when an early plan to team up against Ron went terribly wrong and I ended up being the person everybody teamed up against. You can see that by day 4 I had no outposts and was in last position. I spent most of the game without any outposts or vision and relied on allies to keep me alive.

You know when you play other games and ads pop up there? I don't know whether the Devs would like to advertise their game or not, but it would certainly be an option.
Of course, the Devs have probably already considered this and probably thought its not worth it I guess? I wonder why...I think it would be a great way to attract potential new players. And ESPECIALLY after x100 speed or more is released. Then it would be over in a reasonable amount of time and be more appealing to other players who aren't accustomed to slow games like these

Idk about you, but I hate ads on games, with a passion. It has never once convinced me to try a game.
But, obviously it works, or people wouldn't keep doing it. So maybe it's just me?

Its never convinced me either. Buts thats probably because there aren't any games which don't involve mass war or are too childish. I like games that have a simple appearance but have lots of tactical and strategic gameplay involved if you want to play well (like Subterfuge)

For me the ad was what really got me hooked. Although a tad cheesy, it showed enough of the game to grab your attention. It's also probably the first mobile game of its type out there, so I got that curiosity factor too!
