I love tournaments. They are enjoyable and provide good competition. However, since topkilla's tournament, there have been a ton of tournaments starting.(topkilla's, holiday, 2v2,forum regulars etc.) Is it too much? Should we have less than 5 or 6 tournaments going on at one time? Would tournament quality be improved if you had less tournaments at a time, because people could spend more time focusing on one tournament? I know talks of a tournament committee to regulate tournaments have been discussed. This is not an outcry against tournaments, but how much is too much?

If they don't fill up then that's when there are too many I guess. But even a 16 player, 2 round tournament sounds fun to me, so I don't see it being a problem.
I'm pretty sure the forum regulars is a game, not a tournament.

In the committee proposal page I have also a list of tournaments. There are 3 current tournaments, and 1 upcoming tournament (mine) which is set to start in Janurary. That should be fine I think, 3 doesn't seem to be a problem here

I do not think this is a huge issue. Having multiple tournaments gives people with L1 clearance a chance to participate in a tournament because if they cannot join the first they just join the second. That's the way it was with me. I wanted to join topikilas tournament but I was in a game. However I am now in the holiday tournament so I am thankful for the many tournaments on the forum.
