Hi Everyone,

I've created s Subterfuge strategy guide website. (http://subterfugehub.com/) It assumes the person knows the rules of Subterfuge and provides some useful tips, strategies, and combos I've learned over the past year of playing Subterfuge. I'm always looking for comment or feedback, so please send me your strategies and combos.

Thanks,
Bolminator

Great thanks! But I believe much of the content already exists on the wiki.

I actually really enjoy this site. Not a ton of content yet, but very easy to navigate and I like the attempt at ranking specialists.

I'd like to see this site become a site to display brilliant plays by skilled players. Maybe talk about the more rough edges of the community. Hell maybe even interviews or feature guides from other players.
I'll be curious to see how this developes and I'll try to contribute what I can!

The purpose of the strategy guide I created was to add more Subterfuge content and resources to the Internet. When Fate created the Subterfuge Wikia page I wanted to contribute to it but found most of my input was tips and subjective information. I find the wikia page to be a great collection of information, rules, and facts. My guide is meant to complement the wikia. The site is light on content but I wanted to go live ASAP and get feedback and contributions from the subterfuge community. Any contributions will list the contributors name by it. Hope you like it. Keep the comments coming. Thanks

If you want a few more combos for the compo page I am willing to write a few. I can pm or write them here.

Tinkerer + Investigator + navigator

This is neither offensive or defensive but can play as both. If they are posted at an outpost with high shields you can minimize the dander of the tinkerer by refilling your shield so you can have the maximum bring it from the tinkerer and you have little risk of losing an outpost.

Edit: changed from security to inspector

Chariot, don't you mean the Inspector, not the Security Chief? The Security Chief doesn't refill shields. Although you could use the Security Chief to increase the Tinkerer's output. If your shield is higher than 48, the Tinkerer's debuff of losing 1 shield strength an hour should be negated. Your shields take 48 hours to recharge, so at 50 strength or greater, you'd be recharging more than your Tinkerer is draining.

Sorry about that. Yes I meant inspector. I will edit that. Thanks for catching that.

Like I mentioned, I really enjoy your site.

Here is a strategy I like to employ.

Nav+Assassin Bully
Obviously, if you can add a pirate to this, it becomes much more devastating, but to all of us who aren't blessed with all 3 specialist hires from the get go, this is a great combination to chase an opponent around with.

The main thing I focus on here is keeping an opponent's queen constantly on the move so A) they will not be able to charge full queen shields, B) it will significantly delay when they can actually hire specialists (as the queen must be at an outpost), C) Makes opponent focus on protecting their queen while you poach their other outposts.

The key for me here is never to actually land at an outpost, as your opponent will typically be moving around his drillers to receive and capture you upon your arrival, but just keep redirecting to where their queen is at/ is going.

Obvious counter for this is a pirate, but as long as you have vision of your opponent's queen, you will be able to anticipate the hiring of the pirate and get out of there before they retaliate.

Sentry + Princess

This is a very defensive strategy. The sentry on its own can be sort of lackluster but if you can give him more time to fire on incoming subs he can be devastating. The deference between a 10% reduction and a 20% reduction in the opponents drillers can be huge. This also has the added bonus of if you queen dies you have a backup. This can also work with the intelligence officer.
