  • How would you guys feel if achievements would be added to the game? Perhaps they can add aesthetic value?
    Here are some of my suggestions (random order):
    Efficient - Produce 16 drillers or more in 8 hours
    Imposing - Have 200 drillers or more at one outpost
    Impenetrable - Have 60 shield charged up at one outpost
    Party - Have 8 specialists or more at one outpost
    Royal Family - Have a Queen, King, and Princess on the same outpost
    Generous - Fund 5 or more people at once for at least 8 hours
    Clairvoyant - Be able to see the entire map (through Intelligence Officers & Princesses)
    Hunter - Have an Assassin, Pirate, and Navigator on the same sub
    Overkill - Capture an outpost that had more than 20 drillers with four times as many drillers yourself. (ie 21 v 84)
    Jailer - Have 8 or more captured specialists in your territory

    4 Things

    1) On efficient do you mean 16 drillers at one outpost in 8 hours
    2) It's next to impossible to do that in an 8 or 10 person game unless the others help you.
    3) Hunter kind of give away the kill squad combo to people who maybe didn't know of it.
    4) I don't think Overkill is possible

  • Oh beleve me. Overkill is possible. I am currently being assaulted from all sides and my opponents will have done this many times. Sigh...

    1) Yes: This is achieved through tycoons and foremen.
    2) Really depends on strategy. I manage to keep good peace with most players in a game, and at once piont had a bit over 300 drillers at one outpost near the end of the game (used Thief+double engineer combo)
    3) True, perhaps some achievement descriptions can be locked before getting them?
    4) As Chariotrider said, very possible. For example, if another guys has a lot of territory and only say 23 drillers at a generator and I'm attacking with 100 drillers on a sub, that would be over 4 times as much (23*4=92).

    No, you have it backwards. You have one fourth of the drillers of the enemy. So you'd need to attack with 23 and beat 100. You'd have to use king and/or thieves to pull it off

  • Oops when I said that was impossible I didn't specify. By "that" I meant being able to see the whole map not ha ring 200 drillers at one outpost

  • I like these. I feel a good achievement always has to have some pretty obscure, and pretty hard to obtain achievements as well. So here are some additional selections:

    The game of global domination: Capture every outpost on the map OR win by all opponents being eliminated/ resigning
    Hard to Kill: Go 10 games without being eliminated (you can stack this as well for like 50 games, and 100 games)
    Not mad Bro: Go 10 games without resigning (you can stack like the above)
    The Grinch: Pirate a gift being sent to another player
    The Queen Mary: Have your Queen on a sub for 12+ hours without landing at an outpost
    I too like to live dangerously: Attack an outpost and win with a sub carrying your queen
    Watch the World Burn: Kill over 200 drillers with a martyr (yours and or opponents)
    First Blood: Take an opponent's outpost in the first 12 hours of the game
    Olive Branch: Use a diplomat to save 5+ specialists in a game
    Brainwashing: Use a hypnotist to convert 5+ specialists in a game
    The Ultimate Betrayal: Steal 3 specialists with one double agent
    Triple Kill!: Kill 3 specialists with one assassin
    Gandhi: Win a game without ever taking an opponent's outpost
    Over-repair?: Use engineers to repair more of your drillers than were killed in a single battle
    The A-Team: Win a battle where only your specialists are involved (no drillers)
    Blackbeard: Pirate another pirate
    Bonnie and Clyde: Steal over 30 drillers in a single combat
    Priority Matters: Use a martyr to kill a Revered Elder
    Sniper: Kill over 100 drillers in a game using sentries

    In one of my games, A guy (SupremeGman) had 4 princesses (had a hypnotist and really strong army)and 2 sentries on an outpost (and possibly an Intelligence Officer too). He saw the entire map and his sentries' range even overlapped back at the outpost.
    I have a picture of when he had 3, and the sentries' range is already on the edge of my screen. And sentries have 50% range of outpost range, so I'm pretty sure he saw the whole map!

  • I like this Idea! It might be hard to implement but it could definitely encourage players to play and try to do things in a different style! And anything to diversify play style is something I'm on board for!
