I feel like the people who auto-resign are the people who don't care about elo. Increasing wait time could work, but isn't the problem that they're inactive anyways?
As much as I hate autoresigners, I don't think there's anything we can do about it. Unless we want to make it global law that "He who doth beginneth a game of Subterfuge shalt never fail to play the game until said player hath lost his or her queen without the presence of a princess, or until a player in said game hath achieved the goal of '200 Neptunium'"
And then we enforce it by chaining people to their phones and water boarding them if they ever look away.
