  • Vote for what experiment you want next game for the Experiment Game Series!

Westward Expansion (can only send subs to left of your screen, limited to North and South (91 degrees to 269 degrees), even if it means not getting the closest outpost, dormants included)
Charitable Warfare (must fund everyone you can, regardless if they're your enemy or not)
Gunboat Diplomacy (all subs must have a minimum of 30 drillers, even when gifting or transporting; transport of less than 30 is only permitted when driller cap is reached, but this should not be exploited)
Specialized Combat (all subs must contain at least one specialist, including in the beginning when capturing dormants)
Holiday Battle (Must gift 20 drillers to any person every 18 hours, cannot gift to the same person twice in a row; recipient of gift must be announced in Public Chat, and has to have a witness to confirm)
Lucky Straw (Right after the last hire, the host will use a random number generator (1, 2, 3) to determine what specialist position will have to be picked next hire, however, promotion and gifting of specialists is still allowed)

  • I just want to point out that the "second hire" will always be an offensive specialist. Not that it wouldn't be fun, but it's not exactly random.

Hmm, then maybe we have a random number of 1-3 called out among the host?

What if we had a random number generator like random.org to generate a random number from 1-3

Or you could just roll a 6-sided die, then subtract 3 from any number >3

  • Thanks for pointing the specialist position out! I changed it so a random number generator will be used to determine the specialist used.

Back in my day we didn't have die. We used the knuckle bones of our cow and then subtracted 1 ya scublord!

  • 2 Questions.

    1. For charitable warfare, do you mean Fund everyone you can? I'm not sure how battles would take place if you always had to gift people.

    2. In lucky straw, does everyone get the same number? If that's the case, when a 2 is rolled, EVERYONE will get an offensive hire.

1 - Oops! I meant fund. Fixed it now.
2 - I will send a private message to each player and public chat. I will also post the random generator log on a forum thread so people won't accuse me of manipulating numbers to my advantage

  • Just a note, for No.1 its a bit ambiguous. Maybe 'You can only launch subs to the left anywhere between North and South' would be better, otherwise there's no definition of the boundaries of 'left'
