Stalemate option.

Would it be possible to add a stalemate option into the game? like non eliminated players can vote for a stalemate. And if everyone agrees (has to be everyone) then the game will end and no one wins. I feel that this could be useful in outpost mode.

I don't think this would work. Subterfuge is about fighting until the end and doing whatever you can to get there. I think in outpost mode, or at least every game I have played, there is always someone who gets ahead. They get going and there's no stopping them. Also, the person in first would likely not vote for it and rather play on so they can win.

I understand your point, I'm In a game that has been going for 2 weeks (outpost mode) everyone is going sentry happy with princesses. It's almost to the point where you cannot attack. It would be handy because a few players were saying it is becoming a stalemate

Damn, Sentries and princesses can be very oppressive... and theres no mining your way to victory either. Id imagine a game going that long, everybody has a ton of specialists and their counter.

I think this situation is pretty rare, so I don't know if it warrants a specific button to stop it. In my general experience, dominion has been pretty fast pace, with one or two snowballing out of control.

Back to your situation, as it is oppressive and sounds very slow. Perhaps you could arrange for a Sentry Ceasefire, by either evacuating your princesses from the sentries or having your sentries take a stroll in a sub.

Because there are a lot of princesses I'd imagine everybody can see what everybody is doing. If some guy doesn't remove a sentry or princess, perhaps dog pile on em?

My longest domination game lasted 22 days. For a solid week, I was turtling in 1 outpost. There were 4 major powers and none of them seemed to be doing better than any other one until the last 3 days.

Yea the problem is that everyone has princess and sentries in one place, me and another player can see the entire map. Some even got revered elder and pirates :/

Sounds like it's time to put together Sentry-Killer subs: Navigator/Assassin or Navigator/Martyr.

Everything has a counter in this game; you shouldn't wind up in a stalemate. If you feel like you are, change your strategy.

Small problem. They all got pirates on standby. If I send a myrter, they will target regardless. Also there is a reverend elder so assassin won't do anything. Now people are getting insane range due to princess hires. What's madding is I have 4 kings! I'm still puzzled why I can get to any of their outposts and capture them. Oh yea, they now got promoted inspectors, and sentries firing there underwater EMP blasts destroying my drillers in transit. Any ideas? :(

I've found that when its gets to situations like these, you usually have to be lucky in the specialists that you are given. What you want to make sure is that you make it equally hard for you enemy to take back the outpost (with sentries and princesses) . It becomes easier to keep your territory the more range your sentries have. Then you want to get some allies and rush on one player. The sentries can only target 1 sub at a time, so be prepared to send a decoy sub so none of your other subs are affected too much. Try to target factories as they are self sufficient and don't require you to lose as many drillers defending it. Of course, it does depend on your specialist draw luck as well. Speed subs such as helmsman/ admiral are also very good because you will lose about half the amount of drillers, which will make travelling in your enemy's sentry range less costly when not rushing on your enemy.
