Monetization Idea - Bounty & Bounty Hunting Medals

The way I see it is this way:
I can place a bounty on someone for the cost of a medal. I suggest this medal would be private (not emails telling them I sent it).
Other players can see that someone has put a bounty on my foe and can collect it if they eliminate them from a match. In turn for delivering the death blow, the eliminator will get the "Bounty Hunter" medal. The eliminated player will then have their bounty cleared.
I find the stackability of bounties interesting, say if someone has 3 bounties out on them, I can eliminate them and collect 3 medals.

+1!!! I love this. I'd bounty all of my opponents in my games to avoid attacks XD

This would be amazing.
It might even replace some of those negative medals that some people are complaining about.

One of my favorite f2p games, Planetside 2, does this, and it's kind of a meh feature. I've only ever seen one person with a bounty on them, in the dozens of hours I've played and probably thousands of players I've seen.
That being said, though, Planetside 2 is an MMOFPS, so it's not the best comparison. I'd be in favor of the devs giving this a shot, if only to see what would happen. Maybe give free "bounty markers" to a small test group and put them into public games in order to test it?

This sounds like a good alternative to negative metals.
You still get your vengeance, and the metal only lasts until you had it.
I approve of this idea

I think this could be interesting, but anyone who thought that negative medals affected other games too much will think this is just as bad. Instead of people potentially not trusting you, you'll just have massive target on your head.

^ It will turn the game more into a 'pay to win' situation

Idk, I'm not a huge fan of the negative metals and I think this would be a good compromise. My problem with the medals is they last forever, but this just lasts until someone takes you out.
Although if this is implemented I don't think the bounty should take effect in the game that the both of you are in.

Gets my vote. Better than negative medals.
In a previous game I found myself avoiding a radical high-risk-high-reward strategy because I knew it would have branded me with a negative medal. Being temporary this is cool.
