Specialist Idea "Sapper"

Description: While at an outpost drains the shield of 3 closest enemy outposts by 2 points every 2 hours. Recharges own outposts shield by 50% of shield drained. (revised by V3xt)

Shields targeted by Sapper will have a yellow line connecting the outpost with the Sapper's outpost similar to that of a Sentry's. The Sapper's shield regeneration is capped at 3 shield per 2 hours (since he can only target up to 3 outposts). If there are less than 3 enemy outposts, the Sapper will sap more shield from the outpsot with a higher shield count (So if there are two enemy outposts, Sapper will sap 2shield/2hours from the outpost with 10 shield, and sap 4 per 2 hours (2+2) from the outpost with 20 shield. However own shield regeneration will only be 2 per 2 hours).

Makes a nice way to prepare attacking close enemy outposts. Can be stacked. Range can increase through princesses and intel officers.

I like the general idea a lot. How would this work with the inspector? Would his outpost recharge shields if its was "sapped"? What about a King? Are shieldless outposts skipped by the targeting system? You didn't state what his range would be. Is it 100% sonar range? Also, I think your numbers may be a little OP and maybe a little difficult to explain. Decreasing by 2 every hour means a level 10 shield will hit 0 in 5 hours, and a level 20 will hit 0 in 10 hours. You'd basically wipe out shields at 3 enemy bases in under a day. For starters, I'd say it should fire every 2 hours, like the sentry. Increasing regeneration by 3 an hour is also quite a lot though. If I did my math right, an outpost with 100 shield would fully charge in under 20 hours. The way the current system works, all shields take 48 hours to fully charge, no matter how strong they are. I think instead of saying that it increases regeneration by 1 shield per hour per enemy outpost targeted, you should just increase your own shield by 50% of the enemy shield damaged (which would be adding 3 every 2 hours as long as it was able to drain some).

So basically my modified version is as follows:

I love the original concept, great idea. I think V3xt made the specialists a little more fair

1. Since Inspector only recharges after combat, Inspector will not refill the shield.
2/3. Outposts with no shields are skipped.
4. Sapper's range is that of the outpost he is at, so having princesses and intel officers would increase his range.

I see what you mean about the numbers; I like your cleaner and more balanced description. Thanks for the feedback!
