Infiltrator rework suggestion

Infiltrator is basically the only specialist that becomes obsolete when fighting a player with King (unless attacking King/Queen head on).
Thus, I'd like to buff the Infiltrator so that instead of removing 20 shield, it adds 20 negative shields.
So when fighting an outpost with 10 shield, you'll do an extra 10 driller damage, when fighting an outpost with 20+ shield, 20 shield is removed as with current Infiltrator.
When fighting outposts with no shield, you'll do 20 extra driller damage! This would make the Infiltrator a favorable specialist against fighting a player with Kings.
What do you guys think about this?

I like this idea.
I think that the infiltrator should have a promotion to a [insert clever name here]
The promoted infiltrator travels at 1.5 speed and when attacking an outpost, allows the drillers to skip the shield phase. If you win the outpost, the shields are now yours and fully charged. So it's basically a lieutenant + inspector

I love the infiltrator, especially early on with a speed specialist he can be used to devastating effect. However, later on he becomes a bit useless unless you have generals, and I think as a result experienced players tend to see him as a useless hire.

I'd love to see him become a lethal against kings - even nullify the king effect by default or via a promotion.

I don't like this. This would completely obsolete the war hero. With this implementation the infiltrator would always save you 20 drillers no matter what but you only need one hire for the infiltrator as opposed to 2 for the war hero. Either war both war hero and infiltrator need a buff or neither.

War heroes are already arguably obsolete. Might as well be removed and leave the sentry as is.

The War Hero's use is that he promotes from a sentry, so if someone avoids your sentry fire by sending multiple small subs, you can promote it and destroy them all. Also the War Hero works in all combats, while the infiltrator (even this new improved version) only works against an outpost.
