I'm trying to move a queen from point A to point B with 50 drillers. The only threat is 100 drillers reachable with a pirate. If I have a sabo with my queen, will this redirect the pirate with 100 drillers like I think it would?

Unfortunately not. Combat will still process through to the drill phase and you'll lose that. 100d pirate vs 50d with a saboteur is still a losing combination.

You may have more success staying at your outpost and forcing your opponents to attack you. Then your saboteurs will deflect any attack successfully.

Remember, a saboteur is only effective in sub to sub combat
