I suggest the game be enhanced with conditional future orders:

1. A player can launch a hypothetical sub for another player
2. The hypothetical sub can have:
A. Min drillers
B. Max drillers
C. Required specialists
D. Required missing specialists
E. Earliest launch time
F. Latest launch time
G. Event id - an event is triggered when all conditions are met
3. A player can place a future order (including launch on hypothetical subs if pirate is involved) contingent on event being triggered

Any thoughts?

Would be hard to implement, but I think that would be cool.

I've thought that something like this would be really useful sometimes, but I think it could be complicated to implement, and could sometimes lead to a lot of frustration. For instance, if the conditions were met in a way you weren't expecting, so a sub was autolaunched to its death. Sometimes you have a plan in Subterfuge that absolutely requires you to be online, and I think that's a good thing. Conditional orders would kind of destroy that.

I agree with v3xt. Human minds are too feeble to be trusted with this eldritch power.
