Gifting a specialist to win a battle?

Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • So I finally had the opportunity to do this! My opponent had several outposts with fully charged double shields, so I gifted a king to him to knock down all his shields right before my subs arrived. It was pretty epic! He went from being in first place to being eliminated shortly after. I made a video if anyone is interested in the details:

  • Nice turnout, I did the same thing recently as I had an opponent with a security chief who was preparing to promote to a second. :(
I used a pirate to retrieve the king. After this happened, his empire crumbled too, and he didn't bother promoting to a second chief. ;)

Apologizes for the low quality. Video here:

  • ive seen a video on youtube, where a guy sent a king in a sub with 0 drillers, and ten minutes later send a sub with 60 drillers... the enemy thought he was using the king for the generals "10 driller" global. he gifted it last minute, recaptured it immediately... the guys shields all dropped and had to recharge. that guy was elim'd next day. its on youtube somewhere, sorry if im a little late here
