What's your worst feels bad moment in this game

It depends. Is it a "I am a terrible person" feel bad or "I made a HUGE mistake" feel bad. I guess I can say both. My terrible person moment actualy came quite recently. I was in a game and had red as an ally. Red was strong but was sort of careless. He sent his queen with no protection on a sub with nothing. I had a pirate. I felt really bad assassinating my ally but if I didn't then I might not have done as well as I did in that game.

That happen to me in like my third game

My first game. With subterfuge Being advertised as a game of betrayal, I did exactly that to BOTH my allies (who were not allies at the time) by stealing reds mine, then blues mine.

Problem was I didn't realize how long neptunium takes to accumulate, nor did I realize my actions would unite these two players against me.

What took place was truly terrifying (at the time) as I had to fight solo to hold reds mine, then decided to martyr blues mine because I couldn't hold it. Seeing Red gift his other mine just to help blue beat me made me regret my actions. The game went from cheerful conversation and Intel, to cold silence.

I won the game. Just. I hit 200nep with blue stalled at 195 after his mine blew. But i snatched that gold medal with bloodied hands. I literally had trouble sleeping for a few nights knowing I had betrayed two people for selfish ambition. Nearly didn't play a second game...


Moral of the story: if you have solid alliances, don't betray. A 2nd or 3rd is more honorable, and you won't lose sleep.

Had first locked up. 142np second place was my ally at 63, 3rd was 28np. I decided to grab 2 of my allies mines too end the game Earlier while still giving him second place. It worked but my ally took it really hard. I was hoping to play with him again and return the favor but I'm no longer to be trusted even though my actions changed nothing except for time to victory

Nothing compares to the moment that your friendly, naive noob of an ally becomes a detriment to you and has to be attacked. It's like when your puppy gets rabies and has to be put down...

My ally was the strongest in the game, was going to win and I, his faithful friend, was going to get second place. His mine was unguarded and just next to me, by the way. But suddenly, I was included in a chatroom with everyone else but him to plot to take him down. I tried my best to persuade them not to, to take them down from the inside, to spread misinformation but they did it anyway. After a few days of war, my once mighty, fallen ally had about 4 outposts left. He wasn't going to win. His mine was just next to me. I took it as a final blow. I kept checking my notifications that day for "Et tu, Brute?".
