Restless - After arriving at an outpost, ALL drillers must leave within 8 hours (one production cycle). Newly created drillers are exempt from this rule, but as soon as they are sent, all must go. Whenever you are leaving an outpost, all drillers must leave. All specialists are exempt from this rule.
Class Based Warfare - We pick a specialist "Class" offense, defense, or other. Eveyone is only allowed to hire from this class. Or if we want to get fancy, each person gets there own class that they pick before the game starts. For example. I choose defense and Nojo picks offense. I can only hire defenses specs while Nojo can only hire offensive line.
Everstone (a Pokemon reference)
Game is played as normal, mining or domination or anon, but you are never allowed to promote and specs. You are allowed to hire promotable ones, but never promote them. I've been seeing a lot of posts about how unbalanced specs are, and it seems like the majority of them are about promoted specs (which makes sense, seeing as they are much more powerful). Other than that, game is the same.
Speed priority game - Specialists with a movement bonus are choose over all other specialists:
Smugglers* X3 -x Tycoon
Helmsman X2
Lieutenants X1.5 -> General X1.5
Navigators* -> Admirals X2 + X1.5 Global
Pirates X2~X4
*Smugglers may not be promoted into Tycoons.
*Navigators must be promoted within 36 hrs (2 hires), of initial hiring.
There is no priority between speed specialists- If your hires are between a liutenant and a helmsman, you do not have to choose the faster helmsman.
Synchronized Mining
All mines must be built at specific times. If you can't build the mine at the required time, you must resign (or allow your queen to be captured). Mines will be built on the 24th hour of the day specified, and can not be built sooner or later. Suggested mine schedule is as follows:
Mine 1: End of Day 2 (50)
Mine 2: End of Day 4 (100)
Mine 3: End of Day 7 (200)
Mine 4: End of Day 10 (300)
(SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO ADJUSTMENT)
Magic Number - At the beginning of each day you may pick a number and all subs you send must have that many drillers. Numbers don't have to be selected immediately but as long as you pick during that day the rest of the day has to be with that number
Auction - Every 14h, the leading player will make all of their upcoming specialist hires known to the rest of the game. The other players can then bid for one of the specialists by offering drillers to the leading player. When the hires become available, the leading player will gift the specialist to the highest bidder, and the highest bidder gifts the offered drillers to the leader.
Ex.
Player A is in the lead.
Player A has an Inspector, Tinkerer, or Lieutenant for hire, and announced this in the public chat.
Player B says, "I bid 10 drillers for the inspector."
Player C says, "I bid 20 drillers for the lieutenant."
...and so forth, until the hires become available.
The desired specialist must be specified with the bids, and all bids must be in public chat. If the leader is passed during the bidding, the auction will proceed as if nothing has changed.
Invisible Shield - At the start of the game, you must disable shields. Every time you take an outpost, you must disable the shields. This also includes shields from Queen. So, it makes sec Chiefs useless and kings with no negative effects...
