Favorite Specialist

DISCLAIMER: This topic is NOT a list saying what specs are the "best" and "OP". This is just me saying what specialists are the most FUN to use. And please, don't make this another "Specialists Balance" topic.

After thinking about this for about 4.6 seconds and immediately discarding the King from my mind, i decided that The Admiral is my favorite specialist. (Smuggler a close second)
Global: Adds .5 speed to all subs without specialists present (stacks)
Local: Travels at x2 speed.
Reason: Speed specialists are always fun to have and nevcasary to any game. Though stacking them may not be as powerful as the King or MoE (Both are OP as hell when you have 6), it's just super fun to have all your subs traveling at x3 speed or higher. Even though you lose a nav when you promote, it's worth it in my opinion.

My favorite is definitely the pirate!

There is just SO much you can do with it and it's a ton of fun to use!

Honorable Mentions: Navigator and General(s)

Aw man, I was gonna say that was my favourite....

anyway. In light of recent events. I must say, my fave is a martyr. It may seem strange. Heck, I don't even know why I like them. But there's something about blowing things up that just kinda gets to me. I lost a game from a martyr (thanks bangerz) and made a very good deal/deterrent (haha roady) and am currently trying it again in 2 games. Martyrs can be used everywhere, but nobody seems to do that.

In one game (the 4v4 I failed) I lost 500 drills, two engineers, and a thief. All because I didn't see the Matyr my enemy could hire....

Works the other way too ...
In a recent game (all my games are recent ;) ), I sent drillers to an opponent's generator (with his queen, and a few more)
He hired a martyr, then abandoned the generator, sending everything to a nearby factory - queen, martyr, drillers = everything.
I sent a series of spaced singleton subs (1 driller each) to the new base.

Well, I lost just one sub, he just lost

You know, I am going to go with a very different answer. As much as I love the combinations and versatility of the Pirate...

I think my favorite is the Princess.

The more you see, the more you know, which allows you to make much better decisions. It has synergy with the Sentry (another contender for favorite), Intelligence Officer, Diplomat, and the General.

And that is not to mention the handy back-up plan she is for your Queen.

I'd have to say smuggler. In my first really intense game where I started to understand mechanics and know what I was doing, I used a smuggler and it was awesome. I attacked a guy who I was scared of because he had been gifted a ton of drillers. He had more troops, but I had a smuggler and could get troops in position way faster. I ended up beating him and taking his mine. It was my first feel good moment of subterfuge and it was awesome. Always so sad to promote to tycoon. :(
