Talk to Ron and Noel

Strategy, feedback, or anything SUBTERFUGE-related

  • So it appears Ron and Noel, the developers of this fine game, have left. The official Subterfuge email is giving no responses. They are absent from the forums.

I may have found a way to contact them. It appears they are active on Twitter.
Guys, if we flood them with requests for an update, or at the very lest a formal goodbye, how can they ignore it?!

People, do what is needed to get Ron and Noel's attention!

Don't do dis. Leave the poor guys alone. The game is great as it is, and the problems we have are to be expected when the devs abandon the game.
If they're not responding, then leave them be.

  • Yeah I think we should reserve it for a emergency but otherwise there is little to be done as it stands unfortunately.

  • Ron posted here that they are moving on to different projects, after a final update with some bug fixes and adding medals to Android.

ron wrote:hey everyone, sorry for the long radio silence. we've both taken a much needed vacation after 3.5 years of work on subterfuge, and we're just getting back into things.

it is true, this game isn't doing well financially. if you want more details you can read here: http://blog.subterfuge-game.com/post/13 ... the-future

as a result, we've decided to move on to other projects, BUT, there will be another update coming with fixes for some unsightly bugs, renaming the negative medals to "you made me angry" so that they're not such a stain, and adding medal purchasing to android. expect that within about a month.

I've recently received the medals update on my Android device, so in my book it's very clear that additional updates are not to be expected. Tweets aren't gonna change that, only a couple thousand bucks probably would. ;-)

  • So when you make up to is email, you know today will be a good day.

I tweeted Noel saying I was a huge fan of subterfuge and I, and the community, would appreciate one last update .

    He responded:
We are releasing one today if all goes well,

That could mean there would be an update for subterfuge!!!!
