Specialist Ideas

YES: new specialists will most likely never be put into the game.
NO: we do not care: let your imagination flow!

THEREFORE (oh and yes JD, I did steal your idea, but I was too trilled to wait for you to make this thread :oops:) JD has come up with the idea to post every now and then some homemade, spicy, drillers onto these forums.

To kick it off:

Specialist Idea: The Psychopath
Flavour Text: One never knows its true identity
Logo: A flame
Global abilities: The psychopath gives the possibility to promote or demote specialists at any time, so also while they are travelling. He can apply this ability every 18 hours.
Local abilities: The Psychopath gives a 5 driller reduction when in combat. This amount increases by 5 evertime he engages in combat.

Does his power count as a queen hire, or is it separate? I love the idea, but I think if you can use a queen hire to hire a hypno, and promote it to a king (I just said King because, yeah) within 18 hours. Some might not think having a promoted spec within 18 hours fair.
If you can use a queen hire OR the psychopaths hire, now I'm liking this guy.

Nerf the Infiltrator!

Increase the Infiltrator shield drain to 50.
While it is captive, the outpost holding it is drained by 1 shield unit every hour, stacking.

Good question. I think that he should be able to demote at any time since it had already cost a hire, and that he is able to promote any specialist at any time as long as a queen hire is available (like a queen add-on). So he gives the queen some kind of power-up?

First thing I would do is get an ally to send a bunch of 1 driller subs at me and let this defend them. Then I could rampage around killing hundreds of enemy drillers at a time :)

5 driller reduction meaning: everytime the psychopath engages in combat he gives the enemy a 5+(amount of previous attacks x 5) benefit in combat.

I like your idea as well though :lol:
