Yes, invites should be working now again.

Just a warning if you have difficulties like I was having... make sure you uninstall the game then go ahead and install the latest version. it was crashing for me before.

After 6 days I thought I would write a quick summary of what has happened (from my perspective) for anybody who is interested.

After the initial outpost scramble it became apparent that the winners of R2G2 (AdmiralAdama, Cuppa81, Braxo) had organised to work together in the initial stages of the final. They caught us (MrPid, SHARMAN and I) a little off guard and did some damage that made life difficult in the early stages of the game and severly hampered the chances of one of us winning.

The main offensive was a double team attack against SHARMAN by AdmiralAdama from the South and Braxo from the North. They targeted his factories and 2 days ago SHARMAN found himself with only 70 drillers to his name and no factories to reproduce from. He lasted a further 2 days before being eliminated about 6 hours ago. I believe his final stand involved a martyr to make sure his attackers could take no advantage of his collection of specialists.
