Sneaky Bastard
Offensive Line
Local effect:While on a sub the sub may only carry 2 specialists instead of 3.
Locall effect:While on a sub The Sneaky Bastard hides all specialists aboard it's sub.
Sneaky Bastards sub travels .5x faster when moving towards an enemy outpost.

The Sneaky Bastard is a stealth specialist meant to sneak specialists and surprise the enemy. But a wary enemy may notice the speed change or a missing specialist. Upon battle specialists are revealed and the Sneaky Bastard and his specialist remain visible.

sounds good, although probably not very surprising when attacking, since your enemy can probably see what you've sent. (If he can't he could always tell by looking at the speed factor)
But I guess that's the point right? In that case I think this is a reasonable and balanced spec. There's one thing though, I think the Devs mentioned that they don't want players to be able to 'hide' anything because then, for the player defending, it would be down to luck, and apparently they don't want that to happen.

But that's the point of the tell- the .5 and the limit of only 2 specialists.
I am well aware of the reason behind shutting down the illusionist. The specialist does not hide specialists while at an outpost. Maybe he is too nerfed?

I mean, I'm just saying I don't really like the idea or introducing another element of EGU? I think 2 is enough actually.

I agree. The European Golfing Union is indeed too strong in Subterfuge.

Yes, it has a powerful influence. But it is really the Scots that carry them, even though those Brits like to claim otherwise.

Stealth is always a challenge in game design- In League of Legends they have special wards you can buy that reveal all invisible things, or certain champions will alert your hero when they get within a certain distance.

Perhaps the Intellegence officer could also see the Sneaky Bastard (Scoundrel name change maybe?)
