Steward

Global ability: when defending an attack at an outpost you control, half of your drillers at the outpost are immune to specialist's abilities. Local ability: maximum shield charge is increased by 10.
Quote: we must solve crisis along our borders before we can expand them.
Icon: a scepter

Example: player 1 is attacking player 2 with 90 drillers, an war hero, and a general. Player 2 has 60 drillers and 30 shield. Player 1 uses his king and destroys 30 drillers but cannot use his general or his war hero to destroy 30 drillers because player 2 has a duke. Player 1 wins with only 30 to spare as opposed to 60 drillers.

I thought that this specialist was neat. His local ability is nothing to major but his global ability can protect you from direct driller damage from things like war heroes, generals, and kings in a way that does not make them obsolete. What are your thoughts?

I think its a little hard to determine his worth- Much like the engineer- but he does seem powerful!

It's easy to see this as a good counter for the King or other such specialists- but could you imagine if a gentleman with a King had a Steward?
Kings are generally countered by either nuking their death sub, or wittling away in small battles with war hero's and generals...Well maybe not? Since you did include "Half of your drillers are immune-" maybe it wouldn't be as powerful as I'm thinking. And it also when defending...Well Played Chariot.

How would it round up or down?
Also how would this interact with a martyr?
BOOOM
Oh look Timmy the driller survived! Yaaaaay Timmy!
