Has any clans/groups been created already? Has anyone thought of this yet? Members of the same clans would know who their allies are upon joining a game with other clan members. When there is more than one clan there can be clan wars/tournaments. Also in-clan battles.
So has anyone made any yet? I'd be happy to start one if there is anyone willing to join up.

Ahhhh yes we've talked about this before actually, let me try to find the link.
We decided that it would create too much of an element of pre-game alliances, even in games which had nothing to do with these clans.

Thanks With this paticular idea a clans feature wouldnt actually need to be implemented (although would be much easier). We would have a seperate forum/website or thread on this forum for each clan. Clan battles would be organized on these forums. There would be nothing in game to show you are in a clan.

Hmmm. Great idea. On the forums would probably be the easiest to make this a reality. One master thread for clan lists and members. A second thread for organizing tournaments between clans.
I might make clans a real thing later today is nobody else has by then.
