Normal map, normal winning conditions.
The changes: -100% sonar, and you can't see enemy subs (you can only see your subs).
If two subs collide, only then will you see the outcome, and if any of your specs have been captured/you captured specs, you can see them returning/leaving.
Combat preview disabled for this game mode.
The Intelligence Officer has been modified, so that once he's hired, not only will you see a little bit, but you can now see if your outposts are being attacked.
The Princess has been modified so that the attack recognition is only enabled at the outpost stationed, along with the vision boost.
Sentries will be useless without a vision specialist.

What this means: since you never know when you'll be hit, communication is key.
So much of Subterfuge is knowing your surroundings, and with that gone, you're never sure if you're gonna win that fight; but neither does your enemy know you'll be going for them, unless they have those vision specs.
Saboteurs are more useful, as they enable you to "test" ahead of your attack sub.

So can you see drillers and/or specialists at a base or is your enemies position always hidden?

You can only ever see your own subs, drillers, outposts, and specs, both stationed and en-route.
Unless you have (multiple) Princesses and IOs, you can never see specs and drillers stationed at other players' outposts.

I feel like the princess and the IO are too OP in this variation. I would prefer to have their sonar range effects nullified. The sentry would still be able to shoot in it's normal range, and is still modified by range specs, but you just cannot see anything (except for the sub that the sentry is firing on, probably
