Beginning of Game Idea

  • Past few games I've played, I've noticed that players start with the same outpost set up. Sometimes, they type and ratio of the starting outposts have been interesting and made for some challenging games.

    I wonder if at the game start, we can be given an option to switch a single outpost between being a generator or a factory?

  • given the choice, all reasonable players will likely make the same choice because the world is either factory rich / generator poor or vice versa. so all this would do is reduce the variety of factory/generator distribution -- while complicating the UI, of course :)
