  • iiiiiiiiiiiinspector! I love the inspector. He's so versatile, can be paired with smuggler and queen for fast results, and with sentry for the most annoying turtle ever, can be used front line and home front, he's just everywhere. And that moustache and bowler hat? Beautiful.

  • Smuggler....obviously.
My faith has found a resting place,
    Not in device or creed;
    I trust the ever-living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.
    I need no other argument,
    I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.

I know, that's gonna win. But live a little Aclo, pick something non-shark for once

  • Love the dejection of a queen hunter drifting aimlessly around my bases as my elder just chills.

  • At first, I didn't want to just say the smuggler because that is too obvious, but on every account I always go back to him.

Appearance - Have you seen that glorious beard!

Quote - Ok, the smuggler doesn't really shine here tbh. But it isn't a terrible quote, and he makes up for it in other regards.

Strats - Here lies the true strength of the Smuggler.

First off, the smuggler is a defense machine. Allowing drillers to arrive to protect a base no matter how far away it is. He keeps your queen alive from pirates and other traps.
He plays well with so many other specialist. He helps defensive specialist like inspectors and assassins to be able to guard more bases at once. He speeds up slow moving offensive specialist to get them to the front lines lickity split.
His strats know no end because it revolves mainly around helping other units or drillers, which allows for countless combos.
Most of all, he not only is ridiculously good, but he promotes into a even more ridiculously good specialist, the tycoon. I know that we will be going over promoted specialist in another poll, but the tycoon is one of the greatest strengths of a smuggler. Once the smuggler isn't being as useful or you just need an even better offensive/defensive by having more drillers, a click of a button will increase your production.

Although the defensive category might hold some of my favorite specialist, they can't hold a candle to the smuggler.
Zyxe? Now that is a name I haven't heard in a long time.

  • Of course, the double agent by far has the coolest icon, and I am proud to always wear it in my avatar.

I think I would have picked the double agent if the smuggler was not in the same category.

  • Yeah, yeah, smuggler is by far the most powerful.
Aclonicy is right. The smuggler is amazing. And Zyxe is right, too. It's promotion is really OP.

But the coolest? Nah. Just look at that unkempt beard. Gross.
Honestly, the worst thing about him is that he is even titled like The Onion Knight. Davos rocks this noob smuggler.

I'm with Math! The Inspector is so fun. Using this guy on offense gives people a really hard time trying to counter. Stick him on a sub with an Infiltrator and a Helmsman? It is righteously irritating. And maybe the only time an Infiltrator is good. What says "I'm sweet" like having the ability to make an INFILTRATOR GOOD?

Also, honorable mention to the Elder. Like Radio said, watching queen hunters circle with nothing to do is priceless. But the Elder is often ignored on offense, when she is actually quite powerful there, too. Want to saboteur a sub? Nope. Want to defend with a thief and pirate? Nope. You are going to fight this sub and there is no way to stop it.

  • I admire the Martyr. She understands that she is remembered not for what she's done - she's never been a person of action, unlike her much-lauded brethren - but she carries about her tortured, emaciated form a powerful potential - a potential to change the world. The very air around her crackles with it. Connecting her to the right people gives her the chance to unlock this potential to the fullest, and after a life of thankless chores and service to condescending, disrespectful, and tactically blind Tyrants, her existence is validated, her undying fury made manifest.

The Martyr commands a courage in her task unheard of in her ranks. The Double Agent defects to the enemy at the first sign of adversity. The Specialists fear death, preferring capture and treason. They allow themselves to be taken into custody, they allow themselves to be talked down to by "Revered" Elders and to be impelled against their own by Hypnotists. But not the Martyr. The Martyr understands that death is preferable to life under the Enemy, and nothing will distract her from her mark.

The Martyr may not be the most reusable nor the most expendable of her bunch, but she has one single purpose, to instill eternal suffering upon those she's had the torture of being forced to serve under - and she performs it flawlessly, to devastating effect.
There is no avoiding war; it can only be postponed to the advantage of others.
