Restarting his phone? If it's a problem with username password make sure he is typing it all in correctly.

Same thing happened with me. I was using my full username and password to login at the forums first and i couldnt. Then i wrote my screen name in the username panel and my password and here i am.

His name has a space in it. So my guess would be that's the problem?

I made alts with a space in it before and it hadn't given me any trouble on the forums. You should just type the space as a space.
