Cannot delete private alpha icon(iPhone)

I had installed the private alpha subterfuge through the website and since the game came out through the App Store I now have two icons, one for the alpha and the other for the regular game.
When I try to delete the alpha icon nothing happens. Please help me cuz it is pretty annoying to have a useless icon on my home screen
