i know the playback video feature is still in development but I had a request for when more is done with it.

We just finished up a very back and forth game and I think it would be interesting if the video playback showed the player list rankings through time with their NP counts.

(This is in addition to directorial wish list items like field of view, battle highlighting, etc etc etc.)

As long as I'm making unreasonable requests it might also be interesting to try and show some kind of visual representation about when, how often or even who the players were communicating with.

Maybe run a whole side stats panel post processed off the the side (for landscape viewing) with the in game leader board above a section showing line of colored dots for the players with a counter indicating the number of messages sent (sorted by most messages).

Yes, we definitely plan to show the rankings on a side panel.

The other wishes are more complicated from a UI point of view, but we'd love to let people have more control over what gets exported to the video, add some comments, etc. We'll need to figure out how to do that well and in a simple way without becoming a full video-editing app though.

If you're going to include a status in a sidebar, perhaps every time a player communicates with another - you can flash the color of the sender on some sort of graphic on the recipient?
