Specialist idea: Ghost, Evader, and Intel Officer #2

"GHOST"

Visible only to owner while moving between owners base.Loosing invisibility when attack enemy base.
Speed factor is 50% slower than ordinary sub.

Promote to:
"EVADER"
Evade all ships on the line of his attack and continue to the target.
Speed factor is 50% slower than ordinary sub.

The idea is that it will allow concealed preparation for attacks.Ghost would conceal drillers & specialists onboard at the expence of speed.Evader would then try to successfully execute the planed attack.Immune against all specs unless intercepted by pirate or nuked out on base and overdriled.Again all at the expenxe of speed.

We could then fantasize about this idea further and make the intelligence officer upgradable to.

"INTELIGENCE OFFICER 2"
Increase empire sonar range by 35% & see ghost ( currently 25%)

What would the evaders combat priority be? Or, this would make more sense and I think it's what you are going for, it evades all combat.

My 2 cent son this Ghost : naaah, way too powerful. Defending against a skilled Navigator is already a nightmare. Being invisible on top of that ? Forget it...

The idea is to use it as a Trojan horse to get inside the enemy territory by surprise & start to eat him from inside.Disrupt his specialist hire decisions & eventually make him reorganize defense/front line.

All global effects in combat are null. That is all.

All the "king are op" whiners can enjoy this... but it will cost you'll need to hire the most unloved specialist of them all - the infiltrator. :p

Speaking of ghosts, carter showed up! I know the idea of cancelling global has been discussed before, but the idea of being forced to hire an infiltrator is hilarious.
