  • If you will not serve in combat, then you will serve on the firing line!

    Name: Commissar
    Picture: Revolver
    Designation: Miscellaneous
Priority: Capture Phase (before hypno if present, after diplomat if not)
Description: Upon losing a battle, kills all other friendly specialists present.

If you're not confident in the victory of your undersupplied counterattack, this officer prevents your specialists from becoming a strategic nightmare and staves off all possibility of having them turned against you - by killing them all.

  • Sorry but I can't see any reason why I would hire this over anything except maybe an infiltrator, its use would be SO niche and you'd need it at such a specific time...

  • Another idea is that you could send a death sub with a Commissar against an outpost where many of your specs are captured. If you win, you get the men back. If you lose, those specs are off the table permanently, freeing your hand to go push somewhere else instead of having to constantly fret over That Outpost.

  • Oh no, much better : you send the Commissar as a gift, followed immediately by the big driller sub which takes over the outpost. If the guy doesn't evacuate he loses all his specs there.
It's even more vicious than the MoE gift

Fkin awesome spec idea man

  • Honestly, it seems inferior to the diplo. What think would fun is that for every specialist that you sacrifice, it adds about 40-60 drillers to your combat.

But the sacrifice happens after the combat

  • I guess I'm getting a little off-topic, but I imagined that it would activate at the end of the specialist phase (just give him the lowest combat order) so that you can use both the specialist and the driller boost. Also allows him to be stopped by Revered Elders.
