Introversion and Diplomacy

Hi, I'm new to the forums (well, I have been lurking for the past month) and I've been playing Subterfuge on and off for nearly a year now, and I only just got L2 yesterday.

But that's besides the point. I'm an introvert, and I am not great with diplomacy. I often procrastinate in responding to someone for hours or even multiple days, and this hurts my diplomacy. Even worse, I'm often unsure if what to say and whatever I do say comes off as cold.
But it's not all bad, if I'm comfortable, I like you more than usual (I'm friendly enough towards everyone) or I'm just trying really hard, I can be funny, dramatic and sarcastic. In my current game, my first message even got me an alliance just for sounding likeable.

I assume a lot of people here are introverts, but do you find talking difficult sometimes?

You're typing on a screen...in the comfort of your own home. Introversion is a social aspect. I cannot understand how you may advance if you knowingly wait whole days to respond. You'll have to understand that any shadiness can and will be perceived as a threat or an angle. You are asking oranges to produce apple juice.
