Hi! I posted a small analysis a few weeks ago and I'd like to share another I just wrote. I used the concept of residuals to determine who is the best at their 'experience level' (ie number of rated games played). It's not a perfect way to analyze it, but it was fun to write up and put together. You can find it here:

Although, I think I'm the best player in Subterfuge, not based on any statistics or mathematics though
But seriously though, well thought out and well applied

I have a question though: did you count the number of rated games they played, or the total number of games they played? That may change the statistical data

appreciate it! seems like everyone here thinks they're the best...

i did look at total games played vs number of rated games played. neither are great at explaining the rating of the player, but # of rated games played is slightly better. (r-squared = .1 vs r-squared = .07)

When I first saw this, I thought he next it as who's is the best which is true...

Data looks solid. Fascinating read. And goes to show the ratings are meaningless.
