Am i surprised clash royale was on there? Not in the slightest. But cards and castles was a really fun game, I used to play it a lot

Nice to see Subterfuge competing against those big names like clash royale, X-Com, Civilization, and even FF Tactics.

Sometimes it feels like this game is only a little bit away from huge success.

I would wholeheartedly agree with this. Only mobile game I still play after 18mths, and tell people about.

I think the main issues preventing it from reaching financial success are 1) players need tutorial to cope with betrayal/loss 2) lack of updates for 12mths really hurt it 3) alonicy pwns all the games he plays and scares people away.

I just want to third all this. Joined the game early january of last year, and i'm mostly still kicking.
