How does a pirate work. If i put a pirate to attack a sub. Shall i put driller together with the pirates. Say I want to taget an ennemy sub containing 100 driller. If I send a pirate after it can i send my pirate in a sub with zero driller or shall I put 101 drillers with the pirates? Thabks

All the pirate does is allow a sub to target another sub. Otherwise the mechanics of winning and losing remain the same. So yes, assuming there are no specs present or global effects, you need more drillers than the other person to win.
