  • I think you should all chill out on colour. Sure, it might affect your decisions a little but I think starting position affects the outcome a lot more

  • I've noticed in an overwhelming amount of games, Navy often tends to be very hostile. Its something I've noticed from experience, and I find it very surprising that they tend to win the game more often. I do think that color affects the gameplay, but im curious if color is associated with the layout. Are the maps even the same each game?

  • I find this topic quite fascinating, indeed colors have some effects on the human brain. Different individuals react a certain way with each. Not to mention that there is the popular psychological meanings of each color.

For me, I love when I get beige. Why?

Beige in psychology can be described as,

“You tend to prefer the conventional, not looking to stand out, you have a strong desire to be seen as normal, to be part of the majority.”

“You’re not naturally impulsive, you like to plan before acting.”

“You’re reserved in temperament, you often seek out your time alone to relax and recharge.”

“You have compulsive tendencies for cleanliness.”

Sounds about right, eh? It’s a color of being calm and finding some inner peace. As a practitioner of Zen Meditation, it is said to remain calm in any situation. I find beige to be a representation of such thought.

“Beige encourages, calmness, general neutrality and impartial thinking.” I find that saying well written and true to my view on the color.
