Specialist Concept

Why did i come up with something like this?
Because of various reasons one of the would be the sentry or pirate. I know there are potential counters to them but it's just a concept anyways.

The stealth specialist.
"Disguises the sub he is on"

An intelligence officer would reveal it when it's in his range

What do i mean with disguise? Someone may already figure out, it makes the sub invisible.
That means:
the sub can't be seen or targeted by other players
the sub can still be collided if another sub is in it's path

Pros:
-Counter against things like sentries and pirates
-New combos with various specialists

Cons:
-Revealed by intelligence officer
-Would be Op when no one has an intelligence officer
-Can still be avoided through sub-to-sub combat.

Potential adjustments:
The sub disguises after half of the travel range.
Other specialists that can reveal him. For example the "Lieutenant/General"

There may be things that i missed or didn't really thought about it deeper but i came up with this concept due to my personal hatred to the sentry. :P

I hope you enjoyed reading this have a great day :D

I like the stealth Idea but I think this would be extremely OP. You would need at least 2 Int Officers to cover your whole territory and since enemy can see the Int Officers, they can still play around them. I also don't like the explicit counter thing, since, there is nothing like that in the game at the moment (one particular specialist explicitly countering another one). So how about this:

Instead of making the sub invisible, the stealth guy makes all other specialists that are in his same sub or outpost invisible (except himself). No direct counters. This way you can't really tell what are you fighting against which fucks up with your math.

This would be extremely powerful when hiding your queen, since the enemy won't know which are your hiring options and which one you chose, nor they won't be able to see if you have charges to upgrade or not.

I have another idea along the same lines -

Counterintelligence Officer

The counterintelligence officer is an expert of disinformation. When travelling on a sub or at an outpost, drillers and specialists (other than the officer itself) are invisible to other players, though they are able to see the speed factor.

Counterintelligence Officer can also move captured specialists between outposts, but he must be on the sub with them. A maximum of three captured specialists can be held on one sub.

Borrowing your idea - drillers and specialists on the Counterintelligence Officer’s sub are revealed by an Intelligence Officer.

Flavour Text - Truth is a matter of perspective.

If anyone has anything to add, go ahead.

I like the stealth officer but instead of invisible the sub should be visible but only with a question mark and not have number of drillers or specs that are on it
