A while back, there was an increase in drilling costs to keep people from just entering drilling wars at the end of the game. This got me thinking, and I have a Martyr upgrade to propose.
This unit would temporarily prevent an outpost from functioning. In its simplest form, it would disrupt one cycle or perhaps x hours. Alternatively, it could persist until removed by some other specialist, such as the Hypnotist or Diplomat, at which point it could either return to the original player, disappear or be converted to the enemy's side.
Because it might be used to disrupt a mine, and mines are usually near the center of a player's territory, it could be impossible to attack to allow it to reach its target.
I have thought of two possible names: Jester or Celebrity. The idea is that the unit distracts the enemy, rendering the outpost useless. It could also be a Diplomat upgrade.
